Walking on water certainly doesn't require any celestial lineage, just a cold day.
I realized that I hadn't posted anything since December. !!! So here's a snapshot taken back then. I wish there was more detail in the dark areas, but it was a spontaneous photo, so I'm just glad it turned out at all.
Oooh, nifty. I don't mind the lack of detail. Maybe a little ice-space above his head would be cool (no pun intended), but I think it is fine for it to be darkened out.
I like the slant of the trees and the jet stream through the center. It is a very interesting composition. You also happened to catch the person just in that moment where you can really feel the movement even though it is a stationary photo. I guess "dynamic" would be the right word? Anyway, nice shot!
It reminds me of that famous Bigfoot film where Bigfoot is walking away and gives a glance backwards at the filmer in mid-stride. Not that he looks like a sasquatch.
This was the only time that the pond froze last winter, and the first time in 4 years that I got to use my ice-skates. We caught some fish and shared a bonfire on the ice with some neighbors. Quite a day. I'm looking forward to living through an actual winter again this year. Little scared, too. Gotta find my hat.
