all this week, i've been slowly working to rerender some of my more recent fractals. not because i don't like them, but because i've set up
an account at zazzle.com. it took awhile because i've had to adjust some of the aspect ratios as well as render them at huge resolutions (7800 x 5200). some of them took more than an hour of dedicated processor time (2GHz too) to spit out tiff files in excess of 100Megs. whatever, they look amazing. and if you have an extra $130, you can have a 6.5 foot long poster of one of my fractals.
i might set up a deviantart prints account soon. the print DPI is higher than zazzle's and i'll certainly get more exposure there, but the $25 entrance fee is keeping me back right now.
so i guess i'm shilling my wares with this journal entry. ah, marketing.
